Interior & Exterior Protection
Aero Yachts Services has been cleaning and detailing aircraft interiors and exteriors for nearly a decade. Through these efforts, the question has always been in our minds about how we might treat those areas to prevent dirt and stains from penetrating in the first place. What cleaners, waxes or protective treatments can be utilized to extend the appearance of every surface material from fabric to paint to polished metal?
Over the past three years AYS has worked closely with two specialty chemical manufacturers to use the latest in scientific developments to create products that truly work to repel dirt and stains. Our initial success came in the form of a “Super-Hydrophobic” application that works on fabrics, textiles and carpets to shed stain-causing liquids, dirt and debris from the surface of the fibers. We have tested the product to aircraft industry standards and now have a product for interiors that reduces the effect of the environment on “soft” interior materials. The material has even been tested to ensure that it does not negatively impact the flammability of carpets and fabrics.
Further to this effort, we have also developed an exterior paint and polished metal polymer that uses the same “Super-Hydrophobic” characteristics to protect exterior surfaces. This new product helps shed dirt and stains at the molecular level and provides a very resistive surface that keeps your aircraft exterior cleaner for a longer period. It also makes the subsequent cleaning process easier, as dirt and debris do not adhere easily to the treated surfaces.

Medical Senitisation
Aero Yachts Services has received numerous inquiries over the years from customers who are concerned about the spread of contagious diseases within their aircraft. Large cabin VIP aircraft routinely fly to all areas of the world and are exposed to different strains of viruses and bacteria. At AYS, we responded to these requests and have researched and identified solutions for sanitizing your aircraft interior. Additionally, we have identified and incorporated a custom solution, currently utilized by hospitals, for testing the interior bacteria levels to ensure that the interior is clean and sanitary following our cleaning procedure.
Combined with our standard cleaning and detailing procedure, we can enhance the level of sanitization by utilizing a specially formulated interior fogging product. We have the software and test equipment required to create a custom “bacteria sampling” matrix to test your aircraft before and after the cleaning and sanitization procedure. The program provides quantifiable data regarding bacteria levels and gives you the peace of mind that your interior is clean and free of bacteria.

Detailing & Deep Cleaning
At Aero Yachts Services, we know that there are no “miracle solutions” that will quickly and cheaply overcome years of neglect. Aircraft aesthetic care and maintenance requires a consistent routine of cleaning, using the right products and equipment by trained personnel. VIP Aircraft present several distinct challenges for ongoing care and cleaning. For one, the aircraft that you fly is made of parts, components and materials that are critical to safety. Aluminum structures are strong and lightweight, but prone to corrosion if not properly maintained. Additionally, interior materials and finishes in these elite aircraft are generally made from exotic fabrics, veneers, leathers and other materials that must be carefully cleaned and preserved.
All of our technicians are fully trained to understand the fragile nature of these materials and know the proper techniques and products for their ongoing care. AYS has assembled a comprehensive collection of products that have been tested and certified for use on aircraft. We have also started to expand this base of products through strategic partnerships in the expansion of advanced product development and testing. Our cleaning and detailing operations are supported by documented procedures and inspections consistent with aircraft maintenance. Our operations are AS9100 certified and the majority of our technicians hold valid Airframe and Powerplant certificates with GACA approval.
Additionally, our partnerships with some of the leading suppliers in the aircraft industry provides AYS with direct access to the companies that create interior and exterior materials and finishes.
