Aero Yachts Services offers a full range of interior services that extend from simple interior maintenance and repairs to complete interior refurbishment and aesthetic design services. At AYS we have established very close relationships with the leading suppliers in the industry to provide the very best in interior finishes to include carpets and floor coverings, leathers, fabrics, metal plating, wood veneer and cabinet finishes as well as several state-of-the-art decorative treatments for “soft finish” applications as well as “hard finish” applications. We also have a direct relationship with the industry’s leading provider of cabin amenities.

AYS is now offering these services in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the convenience of the distinguished aircraft owners and operators in the region. We are providing these services through a combined effort of our growing staff of local technicians and through support from our international partners. Local owners and operators now have an alternative to flying their aircraft to the major completions and modification centers in Europe and the United States.

When it does come time to perform a full refurbishment, AYS has an on-staff designer as well as the support from our supplier’s design groups that can help you create a new look and feel by simply updating the materials and finishes throughout your aircraft. Our design staff has the capability to create 3D renderings that will allow you to preview your aircraft cabin with an updated selection of materials, colors and finishes. We can also offer alternative treatments for cabin sidewalls, bulkheads and decorative panel inserts from creative new soft finish treatments as well as the latest options in metalized decorative surfaces and unlimited options for hydrographic finishes.

Our technical staff is fully qualified to perform any interior refurbishment task including carpet and flooring installations, complete aircraft upholstery services including seat build-up and upholstery in leather, fabric or a combination of both. We have skilled cabinet fabricators that can replace wood veneers or strip and re-finish existing veneers. We can also offer unique cabinetry finishes with artisan applied faux finishes or through modern hydrographic applications. All of the metal hardware and decorative trim can be removed and re-plated to refresh the existing finish or to change the finish and update the look of your interior. We have a solution and the skills to update every surface in your aircraft interior.

Of course, any updates or modifications made to your aircraft interior must conform to regulations and meet the highest standards for safety and compliance. Management & Consulting Services

While Aero Yachts Services does not provide full interior outfitting services or “Green Completions”, we can provide you with expert assistance to accomplish your project through a third-party completion center. Our staff is experienced in project management, specifically for wide-body aircraft outfitting, and we can assist you and help guide you through the necessary steps for a successful project. From a detailed project definition and creation of a written Specification to the bidding and selection process of the best completion center for your project. You can involve AYS in the areas that you need assistance and take over the project yourself, where you and your staff feel comfortable. 

Our experienced staff will work with the principal owner and key passenger(s) to establish the overall requirements for the interior configuration. Following this, we can coordinate efforts with your cabin flight attendant staff, flight crew and maintenance team to ensure that every part of your operation has been considered and that the finished product will meet the expectations of every aspect of your mission. 

AYS can provide on-site monitoring throughout the project and will provide detailed weekly progress reports that include documentation of project milestones along with extensive photographic records of the interior fabrication and installation. We can act as your liaison at the aircraft to monitor and track issues and communications with the completion center, making sure that decisions are made quickly and that instructions are clear for all parties.

AYS could not provide full-service solutions for Aircraft Interior Design and Refurbishment without considering every last detail. Previous industry associations led us directly to Dahlgren Duck to provide the finishing touch to our projects through interior amenities and luxury products including china, crystal, flatware and linens. For the past 30 years, Dahlgren Duck & Associates has provided bespoke and leading luxury brands of china, crystal, flatware, linens and more to private aircrafts, yachts, palaces, destination clubs and 5-Star hotels. As a partner in the lifestyle of luxury, DDA offers not only the finest amenities, but also industry experts, artisans and project consultants to perfectly fulfill a need and enhance an overall vision. Upholstery & Seating

At Aero Yachts Services, we understand how fine fabrics and leather bring a sense of warmth and elegance to your aircraft interior. As VIP Aircraft have grown in size and range over the years, it is more important than ever to create an interior environment that is luxurious and also very comfortable.

Our team has the capability to repair and re-dye leather seat and divan upholstery, as we believe that ongoing maintenance and care of your aircraft interior “soft goods” is just as important as the maintenance you perform on your airframe and engines. We are also fully qualified and experienced with the fabrication and application of new upholstery on all aircraft interior surfaces, including seats. We are experienced with the unique compliance standards required for upholstering 16g seating units and have the necessary support staff to perform the required testing and certification.

In addition to traditional upholstery services, we have developed partnerships with two very unique suppliers providing custom formed and quilted “soft” interior treatments. Kalogridis International has created a very unique interior covering called Deconel®. This specialty material combines fine fabrics with a special foam backing to create an unlimited variety of very unique designs and textures. Additionally, Perrone Aerospace provides custom leather products and Alcantara® material for seats, bulkheads and decorative panels. Perrone can customize their products using exclusive Gaufrage techniques as well as Custom Embossing, Debosing and Foil Stamping. AYS is currently working with these two trending suppliers and we are able to apply these finishes at our local facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Carpet & Flooring

Nothing suffers more from normal wear in your aircraft interior than the carpet and flooring. Aero Yachts Services can help bring new life and a fresh appearance to your aircraft through installation of new carpet and hard flooring materials. There is also no easier way to change the overall appearance of your aircraft interior than through the installation of new carpet. AYS can create a new carpet that matches your existing design and colors, or we can develop a new design to create a new look and feel to your interior. We have a complete design staff with many years of specialized carpet design expertise that will work with you to create styles and colors that will enhance the rest of your interior.

The “Sky” is truly the limit when it comes to aircraft carpet design. You can choose from plush natural materials including Silk, Wool or a blend of both, or we now offer very high-end feeling yarns in synthetic materials that offer benefits in cost and durability. Carpet styles include 100% Hand Tufted designs for the ultimate in design flexibility as well as the ultimate in luxury and feel. Our suppliers also offer a more budget-conscious Machine Tufted product.

Flooring templates can be created to fit your aircraft in just a few days down-time and you can continue to fly your aircraft as the new carpets are being fabricated. Once complete, we will schedule the installation of your new carpets and will complete the process in less than a week. You can truly update the look and feel of your aircraft with a very minimum of down-time.

In addition to aircraft carpets, AYS offers numerous “hard surface” flooring materials as commonly used in aircraft galleys and aft entryways.

Decorative Finishes

Aero Yachts Services offers traditional metal plated finishes for hardware, decorative trim and fixtures throughout your aircraft. We can apply metal plating to new hardware and we can also strip and re-finish existing pieces. Finishes are offered in all of the traditional metal types and textures include Polished, Brushed and Matte surfaces.

AYS has created a close relationship with Techno Aerospace offering the latest in finish applications on hard surfaces. Techno Aerospace has developed specialized coatings and state-of-the-art substrates that combine traditional furniture, bulkhead, door and other “structural” components with their Styllos® unique “metalized” finish materials. These modern finishes allow us to dramatically change the appearance of your interior cabin. The structures are very lightweight and meet all of the requirements for certification and flammability and will significantly change the appearance of your cabin.

We can also offer an almost limitless variety of hydro-graphic finishes to change the appearance of existing structures. Hydro-graphic, or “Dip Print” finishes can be customized to your preference and are used to achieve unique aesthetic affects such as carbon fiber, wood veneer and stone. These finishes provide an alternative to the traditional wood veneer found in VIP cabins and meet all the regulatory requirements for flammability.

Cabinetry & Wood Veneer

Aero Yachts Services employs experienced aircraft furniture craftsmen and interior technicians with skills ranging from complete fabrication of custom furniture and cabinetry to the application or repair of furniture finishes. Our mission at AYS is to provide you with the local resources and technical capabilities to maintain your aircraft interior to the highest standards, without leaving the region.
Furniture surfaces in VIP Aircraft are subjected to normal deterioration as well as mishandling from passengers. Clear finishes get scratched and chipped over time from normal use and it is not uncommon for the finish material to adopt a “milky” appearance with age. AYS has the expertise to evaluate these damages and to provide solutions for repair and refinishing. Chips and scratches can often be repaired through touch-up and by sanding and polishing the existing finish to a “like new” appearance. Finish material can also be stripped and a new finish applied to the existing veneer to extend the life of your furniture and cabinetry. Alternatively, AYS has the capability to remove the existing wood veneer and replace the wood with the same type of veneer or we can change the wood species to provide an updated look throughout your cabin. There are also new finish materials and techniques that we offer through our specialty partners including “metalized” surface treatments and custom hydro-graphic finishes. There are limitless design possibilities with these custom treatments that include finishes that look like stone, metal or carbon fiber to name just a few.

The many years of experience acquired by the leadership at AYS provided keen insight into the importance of a strong partner in the areas of engineering and certification. We know that the business of aircraft interior modifications and updates is filled with regulatory requirements, testing and certification. Our research led us to a company with much more to offer through their Components Solutions group, Aero Staff Services and their Line Maintenance and Modification Center capacity. STS Engineering is not only an engineering solution, they provide AYS with resources that encompass every aspect of our operation. The STS Engineering Solutions’ Management Team has advanced degrees, FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificates and decades of aircraft maintenance experience in both MRO’s and OEM’s. STS Engineering Solutions’ Senior Vice President of Engineering has worked as an aerospace engineer for more than 30 years; first with the manufacturer of the world’s premiere commercial jetliner then as a structures’ DER directing the engineering department of an international airline. Interior Design Management

At Aero Yachts Services, we understand that the secret to refurbishing aircraft interiors is in the imagination of innovative design and the use of modern finishes. In the refurbishment process, the aircraft interior layout and basic configuration are effectively unchanged. Achieving the appearance of a completely new interior can be achieved, however, through the creative use of decorative overlays, new wood veneers and dramatically different color schemes. Aesthetic design is certainly art over science, but science has introduced many new finishes and decorative treatments to the aircraft interior market in the past few years. Many things that were not possible when your aircraft was originally outfitted, are available today.

Aesthetic design is very subjective, and we understand that customers have different visions for their aircraft interiors. We employ a young and creative Saudi Arabian female who understands the culture, speaks the language and respects the needs and distinctive taste and style of our elite clientele. Mea’ad is an award-winning designer educated in Saudi Arabia and trained for her craft in Switzerland.
